The Bayern Munich ace could be a useful addition for Everton.

Marco Silva the head coach

Everton boss Marco Silva is under real pressure at Goodison Park, having spent heavily during the summer transfer window, and his side currently languishing in 11th spot in the Premier League table, 14 points adrift of the top six.

The Portuguese will surely be looking to bolster his ranks this month, in a bid to inject some much-needed confidence and freshness back into his struggling squad.

One area where the Toffees might be looking to strengthen is their central midfield department, with Morgan Schneiderlin, James McCarthy and Idrissa Gueye all being linked with exits this month.

With this in mind, Everton should consider rescuing Renato Sanches from his Bayern Munich nightmare.

The 21-year-old joined the Bavarian giants from Benfica in the summer of 2016, for a fee that could eventually rise to £40 million, according to BBC Sport, but he has desperately failed to establish himself at the Allianz Arena.

Sanches also failed to impress whilst on loan with Swansea City last season, but a move to Everton, under the guidance of his fellow countryman Silva, might just be what he needs to help reinvigorate his career.

The Bayern ace is a tenacious, box-to-box midfielder, and he possesses real talent, even though he has rarely showcased it over the past two years.

He would bring some much-needed energy and dynamism to the Toffees’ engine room, and despite his recent struggles, he could turn out to be a real asset for Silva’s side.

Whether Bayern will be ready to give up on Sanches so soon remains to be seen, but Everton should test the waters with a bid for his services this month nevertheless.
