Tottenham winger returned to action for the under-23s.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Marcus Edwards has had a difficult 2018, with his once promising star on the wane.
The teenager was not included on the club’s pre-season tour, following a woeful loan spell at Norwich City which was cut short.
Edwards has been linked with an exit from the club this summer, with Football London reporting he faces an uncertain future.
Despite the disappointments, Edwards continues to get game time for the club’s under-23s.
Edwards was selected as a starter for Tottenham earlier this week in an under-23 game against West Ham, their first league game of the season.

West Ham won the game 3-1, with Xande Silva scoring a hat-trick for the Hammers.
Despite the defeat, Edwards was kept on for the full 90 minutes, and came close to creating a goal with a set piece.
Amid all the questions over his future, and criticism of his supposed attitude, it is refreshing to see Edwards getting chances, and simply playing football.
Monday night may not have brought success for him, but it was a step in the right direction if he is to salvage his potential and come good, whether that be with Tottenham or elsewhere.
