Some Arsenal fans have responded to reported Leeds United target Emiliano Martinez’s post on Twitter after the FA Cup final win against Chelsea.
Arsenal won 2-1 against Premier League rivals Chelsea at Wembley Stadium in London in the final of the FA Cup on Saturday evening.
Martinez was in goal for the Gunners, and the 27-year-old Argentine goalkeeper did well between the posts and played his role in the triumph for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The Argentine is the second-choice goalkeeper at Arsenal, with Bernd Leno the undisputed number one when he is fit and available.
There is no surprise than that Martinez has been linked with Leeds United, with The Sun reporting that head coach Marcelo Bielsa wants to sign him.
Kiko Casilla and Illan Meslier are the two main goalkeepers at Elland Road, and the arrival of Martinez would make the position between the posts very competitive indeed.
However, the Argentine would have to fight for his place at Leeds, and he might want more assurances of regular playing time.
