The Dane left Nottingham Forest yesterday after an unsuccessful stint with the club.
Nottingham Forest’s Nicklas Bendtner
Yesterday saw Nicklas Bendtner’s brief and uneventful stay at Nottingham Forest come to an abrupt end.
The Danish striker, who only joined Forest in September, has agreed a three-year deal at Norwegian giants Rosenborg as he looks to get his career back on track.
It comes after a 17-game stint at the City Ground which saw him score just two goals and struggle for both form and fitness.

He also saw Forest go through an unstable time. His former Arsenal team-mate Henri Lansbury was sold, the club saw a takeover collapse and the manager was sacked.
Not exactly stable.
In an Instagram post after joining the Norwegian side the Danish striker has made it clear that he hopes he can finally find this stability at his new club:
Forest’s unsteady running under the ownership of Fawaz Al Hasawi has been a constant thorn in the side for the club’s fans and it seems Bendtner never felt settled in his new surroundings at the City Ground – with seemingly good reason.
Forest fans will not begrudge ‘Lord’ Bendtner any success if he finds it in Norway.
