Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has sent a message to the fans on Twitter ahead of their opening game of the Premier League season against Liverpool.

Radrizzani is over the moon that Leeds will play in the Premier League this season for the first time since 2004.

The Whites won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will kick off their new campaign with an away game against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Reds are the defending Premier League champions and will head into the match at Anfield with confidence.

Leeds owner Radrizzani is looking forward to the new season, and has said that “a new cycle is” beginning.

Massive season ahead

There is massive expectation around Leeds, who will be determined to make an impact in the Premier League.

The main objective for the Whites this season should be to retain their top-flight status, and they can then build on it in 2021-22.

The eventual plan of Leeds should be to challenge for the European sports, but for the next two or three years, the aim has to be to consolidate their place in the Premier League.
