Fyodor Smolov is reportedly keen on a move to West Ham United.

According to Sky Sports, Krasnodar forward Fyodor Smolov has performed something of a U-turn, and wants to sign for West Ham United this month.
Smolov, 27, has been a goalscoring sensation since joining Krasnodar from Dynamo Moscow back in 2015, smashing 58 goals in 90 games for the Russian outfit.
Now a Russian international with 11 goals in 28 caps to his name, Smolov has starred in recent years, and he has been strongly linked with a move to West Ham United.

After those links, Smolov spoke to Sport-Express in Russia about the rumours, and offered a surprise criticism of David Moyes’ tactics following West Ham’s 2-1 defeat at Manchester City.
Smolov suggested that West Ham’s defensive approach simply wouldn’t suit his style, and that seemed to have deterred him from joining the Hammers this month.
However, Sky Sports now report that Smolov has gone through something of a U-turn, as he now wants to join West Ham this month if the opportunity presents itself to him.

It’s claimed that, if West Ham sell Diafra Sakho during this month’s transfer window, then they are expected to firm up their interest and make a concrete move to sign Smolov.
A £15million fee is claimed, and that could see Smolov complete the move that few expected him to make after his comments about West Ham’s tactics last month.
