Chris Sutton has predicted on BBC Sport that Arsenal forwards Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus could destroy Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will take on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in North London in the league on Sunday.

Former Chelsea striker Sutton believes that Arsenal duo Saka and Jesus will create a lot of problems for the Liverpool defenders.

Chris Sutton on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus for Arsenal v Liverpool

Sutton wrote: “The way Arsenal went at Tottenham last weekend was impressive, and bodes well for this game too.

“While the Gunners are playing well and are full of confidence, things still aren’t right at Liverpool as far as I can see.

“Jurgen Klopp’s side were very comfortable against Rangers in the Champions League on Tuesday but they weren’t tested defensively.

“Here, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus won’t give them a minute’s peace.”

Big test for the Reds

In our view, Liverpool will have to be at their very best defensively in order to stop the Arsenal attackers from banging in the goals.

Gabriel Jesus has been superb for the Gunners so far this season, and the Emirates Stadium faithful will back him to score a goal or two against Liverpool.

The Brazil international striker has scored five goals and provided three assists in eight Premier League games so far this season.

Saka’s pace and ability to pick the right passes from the right-hand side will cause issues for the Reds.

Arsenal have scored as many as 20 goals in the Premier League so far this season.

Liverpool have conceded nine goals in seven league games so far this campaign.

Virgil van Dijk is not having the best of times defensively, and he needs to get his A game out against Arsenal.
