Micah Richards told Sky Sports during their live coverage of Liverpool’s win at the Emirates on Saturday evening that Diogo Jota is in ‘real good form’.
Even though Jota was benched on Saturday, it didn’t stop him from scoring a brace as Liverpool picked up a comfortable three points.
Whenever Jota now gets a sniff at goal, it always seems as though he is going to put the ball into the back of the net.
And Richards praised Liverpool’s thriving speedster after ‘a lot of questions were asked of him’.
“He has had a great impact since he has come into Liverpool,” said Richards. “All he can do is keep doing what he is doing. Knocking on that door.
“I feel, at the minute, Liverpool are a better team with him in it. I would like to see all four of them, with him just in behind and rotating with Firmino. But he has been a great signing after a lot of questions were asked of him.
On his performance from the bench: “He’s a man in real good form, at this moment. He’s confident. It was nice to see all four of them on the pitch at the same time. You want to see Liverpool be a little bit expansive at times.”

Many Liverpool fans will now be hoping that Jota starts against Real Madrid on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Jota should be brought back in for that mouthwatering showdown, but it’s a question of who will drop out?
Klopp has braved playing all four of his attackers before and it has paid off. But it’s another thing doing that against a team with the pedigree of Real Madrid.
