Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has stated that Arsenal have ‘a lot of quality’ ahead of their north London derby meeting.

In a few hours time, one of the biggest north London derby games will take place, with the winner hoping to secure Champions League football.

For Arsenal, three points in the backyard of their bitter rivals will all but secure that all-important top-four finish.

But for Spurs, they have to avoid defeat in order to drag this pulsating race into the final few games of the Premier League season – and perhaps make Chelsea look over their shoulders also.

Both teams have showcased their true worth and also their fragilities this season, but now is not the time to produce the latter.

Nonetheless, ahead of the game, Lloris shared his honest thoughts on Tottenham’s rivals, as he told Sky Sports News.

“It will be a very difficult game against a very competitive opponent,” said Lloris. “They showed a lot of quality and a lot of mental (quality).

“We will see at the end of the season who deserves the most this fourth place.

“But we want to enjoy this moment and know we have to beat Arsenal (to secure Champions League football).”

DEFEAT FOR TOTTENHAM WOULD BE CATASTROPHIC

Given that a draw would suit Arsenal, and of course, they will be pushing for more tonight, then there is more pressure on Spurs to go for the win.

From an attacking perspective, they have one of the best front three in the business.

But, those in Arsenal colours will feel that over the course of the season, they have performed better as a team, especially as a defensive unit.

Either way, come the final whistle, if there is to be a winner, then you don’t want to be the manager in the other dugout, that’s for sure.
