Thibaut Courtois has claimed that Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz have ‘a lot of quality’ ahead of Liverpool and Real Madrid’s Champions League final.

The Real Madrid keeper will have to be on his toes, as he faces up against a fearsome Liverpool attack and Courtois did note they have ‘a lot of offensive qualities’, as he told his own podcast.

It’s a repeat of the 1981 European Cup final when the Reds beat Real Madrid in Paris – ironically enough, that was the last time the Spanish giants were beaten in a European Cup final.

Either way, this is set to be a mouthwatering affair, as two heavyweights of the European world battle it out for football’s biggest domestic prize.

Ahead of the game, Courtois shared his thoughts on Liverpool and their free-scoring team.

“They have a really good team, it will be hard,” said Courtois. “They are having a great season.

“They score a lot of goals, with a lot of offensive qualities like Salah, Mane, Firmino, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz, who they brought in.

“So, they have a lot of quality up front. I hope we can stop them. They will study how they can afford to score against us and we will have our ways in how to defend and attack them.”

REAL MADRID AND LIVERPOOL HAVE RIDICULOUS GOAL THREAT

The attacking power that will be on show in Paris will be bigger than Kylian Mbappe’s yearly salary at PSG.

It’s a ridiculous amount of goals that will be on show, with Jurgen Klopp having better depth than Carlo Ancelotti.

The Real Madrid fans will argue, with Karim Benzema in their XI, they have the best goalscorer, but those in Liverpool will point towards a certain Mo Salah.

Either way, despite the attacking power that could be unleashed, it’s probably going to be a more chess game between the two world-class managers.
