According to 90Min, Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Pedro Neto, and that’s not much of a surprise, especially when you factor in his existing relationship with Nuno Espirito Santo.
Of course, Nuno managed Neto at Wolves, and it’s fair to say that the winger was one of his best players during his stint in the Midlands.
In fact, the Spurs manager has gone on the record to speak about how much he rates Neto, claiming that he’s a very talented player.
What’s been said?
Nuno has given Neto a lot of praise in the past.
“I believe he has a lot of potential to develop. He’s a very talented player,” Nuno said.
“I realise that as the season goes by, ups and downs in performances of the players are normal. What we want is to have all the players at the same level of performance. Sometimes it doesn’t happen.
“Neto is doing well now. We expect more from other players, realising that sometimes Pedro is not going to be so involved.”

Great signing
If Spurs can sign Neto it would certainly be a brilliant signing.
The winger is not only a supremely talented player, but he knows what it takes to play under Nuno Espirito Santo and he’d be a great fit for the system.
Neto is incredibly fast, tricky and creative, so the idea of him playing in a front three along with Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son is mouth-watering.
If Spurs get this one over the line, Nuno will surely be buzzing.
