Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting to a clip of Arsene Wenger re-watching the Champions League clash with Barcelona from 2011 on BeIN Sports this week.

The Frenchman was doing some punditry for the TV station, and as you can imagine, they were keen to talk about one of his most memorable Champions League ties as Arsenal boss as European football returned to our screens.

They had Wenger re-watch the highlights from both legs, and you can see just how much that tie meant to Wenger.

Even 10 years down the line, the Gunners legend looks to be so happy when Andrey Arshavin scores the winner in the first leg, and he talks about the game with so much passion.

Understandably, Arsenal fans absolutely loved seeing Wenger talking about the club on TV and genuinely looking emotional when watching his old team strut their stuff.

That tie against Barcelona was controversial to say the least, with Robin van Persie’s second-leg red card still being spoken about to this day, but it also produced some of the best football we saw from Wenger’s team during his final few years in charge.

Here’s what Arsenal fans have been saying about this clip of Wenger on social media…
