Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants to speak with the Rangers squad to discuss his plans for the January transfer window over the coming days and weeks, via quotes by the Daily Record.
The Dutchman is yet to decide where he stands regarding mid-season deals after taking over at Ibrox last month. He already feels as if he knows his current options better than when he arrived in Glasgow to replace Steven Gerrard, but wants to give himself time to run the rule.
Rangers have won three games from three under Van Bronckhorst in all competitions so far. The Gers have also scored six goals to just one conceded with the 46-year-old at the helm.
Learning what the Rangers squad is capable of producing and where their limits are is now the most important task for Van Bronckhorst before he looks to finalise his transfer plans.
“For me, the most important thing is to get to know the squad and win games,” Van Bronckhorst said.
“I already know them all a lot better and in the coming days and weeks, I can speak with the players a lot more on future plans.
“The transfer window will open and we will discuss what has to be done, nothing has been decided yet.”

Van Bronckhorst has given 17 players minutes over his three games as Rangers manager so far. He has also named a further seven on the bench have who failed to get onto the pitch.
Of those to feature, 11 have played in all three of the Gers’ fixtures under the Dutchman. Allan McGregor, Borna Barisic, Calvin Bassey, James Tavernier, Glen Kamara and Connor Goldson have additionally played all 270-minutes available.
