We take a look at how Norwich City have performed in the final ten games of the last three seasons.

2013/4

W 1 D 2 L 7

Points: 5 (Premier League)

Norwich City were only able to pick up one win from their closing ten fixtures, as they dropped from 14th to 18th in the Premier League.

The 2-0 home win against Sunderland was followed by defeats to fellow relegation-strugglers Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion, which resulted in manager Chris Hughton losing his job.

His replacement Neil Adams could not save the day, as he only mustered one point from their final five fixtures.

2014/5

W 6 D 3 L 1

Points: 21 (Championship)

The Canaries came close to stealing an automatic promotion spot following an impressive run-in from Alex Neil’s men.

This included five victories on the spin, taking Norwich into the top two before slip ups against Middlesbrough and Rotherham United meant they had to take the Wembley route to the Premier League.

2015/6

W 3 D 1 L 6

Points: 10 (Premier League)

Norwich suffered relegation to the Championship after picking up ten points from their final ten fixtures.

Alex Neil’s side followed up back-to-back wins against West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United with four consecutive defeats which saw the Canaries slip back into the bottom three. The 4-2 win at home to Watford wasn’t enough to take their relegation battle to the final day of the season, as Sunderland beat Everton at the Stadium of Light.
