Chris Wood is in brilliant form for Leeds United at the moment.
Chris Wood is one of the best players in the current Leeds United squad and has been scoring goals for fun this season. The New Zealand international striker has found the net as many as 18 times in the Championship so far this campaign.
The 25-year-old former West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City man has scored just two fewer goals than Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle and could end up as the top scorer in the Championship at the end of the season.
Wood’s finishing has been brilliant this campaign, and Leeds head coach Garry Monk has also praised the striker for his hard work. The former Hamilton Wanderers man is a team player and is not selfish, and Monk has highlighted one of his features which often goes unnoticed.

“Strikers thrive on goals, it gives them confidence, but Chris is a team player,” Monk told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “You can see it. He doesn’t just do goals. He commits with and without the ball. He’s committed to how we play and he’s a leader in the group. We’re all very happy for him.”

Leeds are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 54 points from 30 matches. The West Yorkshire outfit have established themselves as genuine playoff contenders this season.
The Whites will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Cardiff City at Elland Road in the Championship.
