Trevor Sinclair has praised Celtic midfielder Scott Brown on Twitter.
The former Manchester City winger, who is a Celtic fan, was impressed with the display produced by Brown during the Hoops’ win against Hamilton Academical at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
Odsonne Edouard was the star of the show for the Hoops, as the French striker scored a hat-trick in their 5-1 home win.
Sinclair was following the match, and while he was impressed with the Frenchman, he has hailed Brown and has underlined his importance to the team.
Top-class footballer
Brown is 35 years of age, but the Scottish midfielder remains one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in manager Neil Lennon’s side.
Against Hamilton at Celtic Park on Sunday, the former Hibernian star was a force to be reckoned with in the middle of the park, moved the ball around nicely, and protected the defence.
Brown will play a hugely important role in Celtic’s quest to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row this season.
