Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey has raved about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on the Premier League’s YouTube channel.
The 19-year-old rising star has said that he has watched clips of Tottenham striker Kane, and he has been left stunned by his technique and shooting.
Ramsey said about Kane on the Premier League’s YouTube channel: “To be fair, I have spent some time on YouTube and watched the England clips of their shooting practice in there, and in those videos, he is a joke. His technique, right foot and left foot, even heading. It’s good.”
World-class striker
Kane is one of the best strikers on the planet and is a world-class footballer, and Ramsey being impressed by the 27-year-old Tottenham star does not come as a surprise at all.
The England international is a proven goalscorer and has been banging in the goals for fun for several years now.
So far this season, Kane has scored 19 goals and provided 13 assists in 29 Premier League, according to WhoScored.
Ramsey is a midfielder, but it is very encouraging that the teenager watches Kane’s shooting and technique.
A goalscoring midfielder is a very important player in any team, and perhaps the England Under-20 international will be able to learn something from watching Kane and add goals to his game.
Ramsey is a central midfielder, and while it is unlikely that he will score too many goals, he could always contribute with important strikes from time to time.
So far this season, Ramsey has made four starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Villa, according to WhoScored.
