Steve Bruce took charge of his first Aston Villa match at the weekend against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Jonathan Kodjia has told Aston Villa’s official website that he has been impressed by Steve Bruce’s start.
Bruce was appointed by Villa last week as Roberto Di Matteo’s replacement, and he has now had a chance to put on his first few training sessions at the Midlands club.
Kodjia has been impressed by Bruce’s start, and he admits that the team are having to take on board a number of new ideas.
“The new manager is very good,” Kodjia said. “We’ve only worked with him for a few days.
“He has new ideas, a new mentality and ways of playing. He also has so much experience which will help us all.
“The team are happy with the new manager and we’ve enjoyed working with him so far. We will all get to know him soon.”
Bruce has a tough job on his hands, as Villa have disappointed over the season so far.
The claret and blues have won just one of their first 12 Championship matches this term, and they sit in 20th place in the table.
Villa went into the new campaign as one of the favourites for promotion, but they have failed to live up to expectations.
