The Leeds United midfielder is nearing a return to full training.

Leeds United fans will be desperate for Liam Bridcutt to return to the starting XI as soon as possible, with the midfield crying out for experience despite the Whites’ surge up the Championship table.
As Leeds boss Garry Monk confirmed via the club’s official Twitter account on Thursday afternoon, the Scotland international will hopefully be back in full training next week, and while that still means he is some way off a return to action it could in fact be perfect for the club.
After all, Leeds will know all too well how important the busy festive period is for side’s chasing promotion and if Bridcutt returns fit, firing and – perhaps most importantly – fresh for those games it could make all the difference.
Leeds have done well in their skipper’s absence but that does not mean they do not need him; far from it.

The Whites take on Rotherham United this weekend hoping to get back to winning ways, but it is the matches against Brentford, Preston North End, Aston Villa and the return fixture with the Millers that will determine if Leeds are in the mix come 2017.
If they are, anything can happen, and expect Bridcutt to make up for lost time in the second half of the campaign.
