Speaking on The PFA’s YouTube channel, Fabio Carvalho has predicted that he will win a few Ballons d’Or and a few Champions League before his career is over.
The Liverpool ace was playing a game where he had to pick between a few options, and he was asked about having the ability to predict the future.
When asked to predict his own future, Carvalho stated that he expects to win the top prizes in football on multiple occasions in the coming years.
What’s been said?
Carvalho discussed what he sees for himself in the future.
“Would you rather predict the future or time travel?” Carvalho was asked.
“Time travel, if you can predict the future you just know what’s going to happen, but if you can travel into the future you can know what’s going to happen anyway,” Carvalho said.
“So, what are we saying? If we look into Carvalho’s future what are we saying?” The host queried.
“A few Ballon d’Ors, a few Champions Leagues, you’re laughing, but I am being serious!” Carvalho concluded.
Genuinely means it
The video’s host may have had a laugh and a giggle when Carvalho said this, but the youngster genuinely sees himself reaching the very top of this sport.
This isn’t the first time Carvalho has spoken about winning the Ballon d’Or, he outlined his ambition to win the Golden Ball back in 2021 when speaking to The Athletic, and his career has only been on an upward trajectory since then.
The midfielder has the talent to get to a very high level, but you don’t make it to the very top without an unbelievable amount of hard work and dedication, and that’s where Carvalho now needs to focus.
Don’t be surprised if this young man makes good on his promise and is one day crowned as the best player on the planet.
