Southampton have a whole host of their attacking players currently out injured.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhüttl spoke to reporters after his side’s defeat to Arsenal yesterday, and lamented Michael Obafemi’s injury as a ‘disaster’, as quoted by Sky Sports.
The Saints are currently in a whole world of trouble, and they sit in 18th spot in the Premier League table, one point adrift of 17th placed Cardiff City.
What will be a real worry for Hasenhüttl is how depleted his current striking options are, with Danny Ings, Shane Long and now Michael Obafemi all out.
The Southampton teenager had only just returned from a hamstring injury when he took to the field at the Emirates for the second-half, only to last 20 minutes before aggravating the same injury.
Hasenhüttl addressed the media after yesterday’s defeat, and suggested that losing Obafemi is nothing short of a disaster for his team, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“It’s a disaster for us, Nathan Redmond is the only player who really scores for the moment and if he has Danny Ings or Michael Obafemi it’s not easy to defend against.”
Next up for Southampton is a home game against Fulham on Wednesday night, and they quite simply must find a way to win the match, with or without some of their key attacking players.
