Packie Bonner has suggested that Steven Gerrard’s Rangers could pick up a point against Celtic at Celtic Park next weekend, as quoted in The Scottish Sun.
Rangers will take on Celtic away from home in the Old Firm derby next Saturday.
It promises to be a very exiting game of football, especially with the two sides separated by just a single point.
Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 26 points from 10 matches, a point ahead of second-placed and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played nine times.
With no fans inside the stadium, Celtic legend Bonner has suggested that Rangers will be more relaxed, and believes that the Gers could end up bagging a point from the encounter.
The Scottish Sun quotes Bonner as saying: “They’re at home also but Rangers are playing very well.
“Their players will be high in confidence and I think the crowd not being there will allow Rangers to come and play with a little bit more confidence and be more relaxed at Celtic Park than the norm and that will be interesting to see how that pans out. Don’t be surprised to see it being a draw.”

Playing for the win
Both Celtic and Rangers are in good form at the moment and have strong teams, and one suspects that the Hoops and the Gers will be going for the win next weekend.
There should be a few goals in the match, and one should not be surprised if there is a late winner.
