Guillem Balague has been speaking to James Allcott on YouTube, where he made a “worrying” claim about Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.
What’s the story?
Well, the Spanish journalist was keen to stress just how hard the £96,153-a-week Arsenal man works at the Emirates Stadium.
In fact, Balague thinks Arteta works so tirelessly, that he may eventually burn himself out.
Speaking to Allcott on YouTube, the 53-year-old said: “He is the engine of the club now, which is a bit worrying because I think it could burn him out. He really is putting the whole thing on his shoulders.”
Now, we believe some Arsenal fans should take this into consideration next time they post #ArtetaOut on Twitter, or turn up to games with Arteta Out banners.
The 40-year-old clearly cares a lot about the Gunners, and is desperate to bring success back to Arsenal.
If he fails to do so, it certainly won’t be down to a lack of effort.
Arsenal have a gem in Mikel Arteta

It would’ve been easy for an inexperienced 40-year-old such as Arteta to shy away from big decisions, in what is his first role in football management.
However, Pep Guardiola’s former assistant has been brutal in that respect, forcing out deadwood such as Shkodran Mustafi, Mesut Özil, Sead Kolasinac and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
In recent times, he has also bought wisely, signing players such as Martin Ødegaard, Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Arteta has also already delivered a trophy to the Emirates Stadium, winning the FA Cup, and it’s clear for all to see how his Arsenal side are developing.

It also cannot be forgotten that Arteta did not inherit anything remotely successful from Unai Emery.
Arsenal were a mess after the 50-year-old was sacked, but Arteta has steadily turned the club around, and the future now looks seriously bright.
One thing he could arguably work on is his treatment of fringe players, as Nicolas Pepe has already become annoyed at him, while he also admitted he was “unfair” to Eddie Nketiah.
However, if there’s an Arsenal fan out there who isn’t excited by what the Spaniard is doing in north London, then they should give their head a wobble.
