Liverpool forward Mo Salah has been back to his goal-scoring best in recent weeks.

Liverpool legend John Barnes has made an interesting claim that Mo Salah would not be able to match his goal-scoring form for the Reds at another club.
Egypt international Salah was crowned PFA Player of the Year last season after a stellar campaign in front of goal, which saw Jurgen Klopp’s side finish in the top four and reach the Champions League final.
The 26-year-old scored a mammoth 44 goals in 52 games in all competitions, as well as leading the goal-scoring charts in the Premier League with 32 strikes from 36 matches.
In recent weeks, Salah’s form has picked up once again, which has resulted in Liverpool remaining unbeaten in the league and sitting top of the table ahead of champions Manchester City.
Ahead of their showdown against rivals Manchester United on Sunday, Barnes explained why the free-scoring Salah would not be able to replicate his blistering form elsewhere.

“He happens to have had a fantastic season last year where he scored those goals and a lot of it has to do with the way Liverpool play,” Barnes told Sky Sports on 14/12/2018 at 12:30pm.
“It suits himself. It suits Mane. And it suits Firmino. Mo Salah at another club would not score the goals he scored because of the way the team plays. The team really plays to allow him to do what he does.”
Salah, who scored a hat-trick against Bournemouth last time out, will now prepare for the visit of fierce rivals Manchester United on Sunday as Klopp’s men aim to extend their unbeaten run in the league.
