West Ham

The Daily Mail’s live transfer blog (31st January 2018; 19:43) reports that West Ham’s move to sign Preston North End striker Jordan Hugill is ‘almost complete’.

The eight-goal forward is set to make the switch from the Championship to the London Stadium for £8 million, the Mail adds.

Southampton

According to the Daily Mail’s live transfer feed (31st January 2018; 19:42), Southampton are still optimistic that they will still be able to sign Quincy Promes at some stage in the future.

Promes was the subject of several bids from the Saints during this window, but his £25 million move to St Mary’s never took place. The Mail suggests that Southampton will consider making a fresh move in the summer as they believe that the winger wants the move.

Burnley

Burnley plan to go back in for Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall in the summer after failing to land the youngster this month, according to the Daily Mirror’s live transfer feed (31st January 2018; 20:12).

The Mirror suggests that Burnley were put off by Forest’s £19 million asking price despite making three bids for the 21-year-old and are planning a new move at the end of the season. However, Forest are hoping to start contract talks with the centre-back.

Tottenham have confirmed on their official website that Connor Ogilvie’s loan at League One side Gillingham has been extended until the rest of the season.

Left-back Ogilvie has made 27 league appearances for the mid-table side this term.

Championship leaders Wolves have confirmed that they have made a late addition to their under-23 side, with Reimao Nogueira signing a deal until the end of the season after leaving Fiorentina.
