Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Celtic, Newcastle and Wolverhampton Wanderers all feature in our round-up
Jack Wilshere
Wilshere to choose between Eagles and Cherries
Jack Wilshere looks set to spend his time away from Arsenal in the Premier League as Sky Sports is reporting that he has decided to join either Bournemouth or Crystal Palace on loan.
The Gunners midfielder also attracted serious offers from Watford, Sporting Lisbon and Benfica, Sky Sports adds, but after meeting with both Alan Pardew and Eddie Howe on Tuesday night, he has narrowed down his options to one of those two clubs.
The England international decided to leave Arsenal temporarily to get some first-team football under his belt, and if he can stay fit, there is no question that he would be deserving of a place in either team.
Former Manchester United forward Angelo Henriquez
Celtic offered chance to sign international striker
Celtic have been offered the chance to sign Dinamo Zagreb striker Angelo Henriquez, according to the Daily Express.
The 22-year-old – who spent three years with Manchester United without making a Premier League appearance for the club – is available for around £1m, the Express reports.
The Express adds that Brendan Rodgers hopes to add another midfielder and forward to his squad before the deadline, so perhaps the chance to sign the Chile international may appeal to the Northern Irishman.
Newcastle’s Cheick Tiote
Cheick Tiote could be staying at Newcastle
The Shields Gazette is claiming that Cheick Tiote could end up staying at Newcastle United until at least January after a move to Olympiakos fell through.
The Greek side had been ready to swoop in for the holding midfielder after Galatasaray also pulled the plug on a move, but it appears that their interest has now cooled.
The Shields Gazette claims that the Ivory Coast international is desperate to leave St James’ Park, so he will be hoping that another club makes a last-ditch move.
Fulham’s Richard Stearman
Wolves plot to sign former centre-back on loan
Richard Stearman could be set to make a return to Molineux after the Express and Star reported that Wolves wanted to sign their former centre-back on loan.
The 29-year-old left for Fulham during last summer’s window, but has struggled to make much of an impact at Craven Cottage so would surely be interested in returning to the club for whom he made over 200 league appearances.
