According to Sky Sports’ live transfer blog (09/08; 07:09), Tottenham are hoping to continue discussions with Aston Villa today regarding a potential move for Jack Grealish.

Sky Sports reports that Villa have made it clear that their talisman is not available, but the player wants to go and Spurs are apparently not giving up on a potential deal for the attacking midfielder just yet.

According to a report from the Daily Star, Leeds midfielder Eunan O’Kane is expected to agree a six-month loan deal with Lee Bowyer’s Charlton Athletic.

O’Kane has not featured for the Whites under new head coach Marcelo Bielsa, and the Daily Star is now suggesting that he is likely to end the window having swapped Elland Road for a loan move to The Valley.

The Daily Mail reports on their transfer feed (09/08; 07:42) that Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks with Huddersfield Town over a potential deal for Michael Hefele.

Forest are reportedly going to pay the Premier League side just £350,000 for the German centre-back, but the move is still subject to a medical going through without any major problems.

The Daily Mail is also reporting on its transfer blog (09/08; 07:57) that Burnley could revive their interest in Swansea ace Sam Clucas in January if he remains at the Liberty Stadium.

Stoke appear to have stolen a march on the Clarets after the latter’s £8 million move collapsed when discussions were at an advanced stage. But Sean Dyche is apparently not shutting the door on a potential deal altogether.
