Gerrard confirms Rangers exit
Following the 3-1 win over Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup on Wednesday night, Steven Gerrard confirmed – as quoted by the Scottish Sun – that Jordan Rossiter is set to join Bury on loan.
The former Liverpool midfielder has struggled with numerous injuries at Ibrox, and he replaces Jamie Barjonas who returned to Rangers from Bury before moving to Raith Rovers on loan.
Gerrard said: “Jordan is very close to joining Bury. He has been down there all day and it is 99 per cent done.”
Lazio to beat Fulham for Turkish defender

Turkish outlet Haberturk claimed on Wednesday that Fulham were willing to splash £2million on 28-year-old Galatasaray centre-back Serdar Aziz. However, they could now miss out.
That is because Italian outlet SportMediaset have claimed that Serie A heavyweights Lazio are in talks to land the 16-time Turkey international, who is out of favour with the SuperLig side.
Newcastle stuck with Lazaar

Italian website CalcioMercato have reported that Serie A side Cagliari have completed the signing of AS Roma left-back Luca Pellegrini on loan. The 19-year-old is considered one of the best up-and-coming full-backs in Italy.
Newcastle were hoping to shift outcast Lazaar to Cagliari – according to TuttoMercatoWeb – but seeing as Cagliari have solved their left-back hole, it seems as though Newcastle will be stuck with Lazaar until the summer.
West Brom made to wait by Newcastle
Championship side West Brom made an offer to sign Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy on Tuesday, but they are being made to wait over a move for the £12million winger – according to Sky Sports Transfer Centre (Thursday, 08:31).
That is because Newcastle are weighing up what is best for the ex-Norwich wide man. It is believed Murphy is attracting plenty of interest, though West Brom are said to be the front runners.
