If you’re Arsenal, you have to be more optimistic about your hopes of getting Dusan Vlahovic now.

Earlier this week, CMW reported on Thursday that the Gunners were in pole position to sign the Juventus hitman.

On the same day, La Repubblica confirmed that Arsenal were indeed going back to sign the £98 million-rated striker.

It remains to be seen if the Italian outfit are interested in selling Vlahovic.

But for the player himself, he might be very keen to leave.

That’s because Vlahovic, who only joined Juve last January, has just watched his teammates suffer a 5-1 defeat away to Napoli.

Being one of Italy’s great clubs, losing by that margin is a symptom of something being very wrong in Turin.

And Arsenal have to be buoyed by their hopes of bringing him to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are set to sign Mykhailo Mudryk, so it remains to be seen if the North Londoners sanction another big-money move after getting the Ukraine international.

But surely Vlahovic – who wasn’t playing last night – is having second thoughts about the Serie A outfit.

And if that’s the case, it’s a perfect time for Arsenal to swoop.
