Thomas Partey to Arsenal

According to The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 6:40pm, October 5, 2020), Thomas Partey is flying to London tonight to complete his move to Arsenal.

It has been reported that although there are ‘several hurdles to overcome in order to finalise a deal’, Arsenal are confident of signing the Ghana international defensive midfielder from Atletico Madrid before the summer transfer window closes tonight.

The Gunners have reportedly decided to trigger the £45 million release clause in Partey’s contract.

Tottenham Hotspur want Joe Rodon

The Daily Mail has reported that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Swansea City over the transfer of defender Joe Rodon.

It has been reported that the Premier League club have made a bid of £7 million, but Championship side Swansea want as much as £18 million for the 22-year-old Wales international central defender.

It must be noted that the transfer need not be completed tonight, as the English window will stay open beyond Monday.

Busy Fulham

According to The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 6:46pm, October 5, 2020), Fulham are expected to complete a loan deal for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek before deadline tonight.

Sky Sports (Transfer Live blog, 6:54pm, October 5, 2020) have reported that Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo is having a medical at Fulham.

Meanwhile, Jack Aitchison has sent a message to Celtic on Twitter after leaving for Barnsley.
