Released by Celtic when he was just 15 years of age because of being small, Robertson has established himself as a key figure in the current Liverpool team and is one of the best left-backs in Europe.
The 24-year-old cost the Reds just £8 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Hull City in the summer of 2017, as reported by BBC Sport, and the Scotland international defender has proved to be a bargain signing for the Merseyside outfit.
Liverpool are not a selling club and are unlikely to part company with Robertson anytime soon, but if they do, then they could get atlas over seven times of what they paid for him.
According to the CIES Football Observatory, the current value of Robertson is €68.9 million (£60.06m) – seven-and-a-half times of what Liverpool paid for the former Queen’s Park and Dundee United star.
One suspects that Celtic are probably regretting letting Robertson leave when he was a teenager instead of persevering with him.
