Newcastle United, Derby County, Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion are all covered in our deadline day update.

Our 8am deadline day round-up features news on Newcastle United, Derby County, Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton.
Colback wants to depart

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United midfielder Jack Colback wants a loan move away.
Colback spent last season out on loan from Newcastle at Nottingham Forest, but Steve Bruce’s return seemed to give him another chance to impress back at St. James’ Park.
Colback has been with Newcastle for all of pre-season, but it seems that he is now surplus to requirements.
And the combative midfielder would now look to pursue a loan move away from Newcastle, where he can play more regularly.
Jurgen Locadia linked with Derby County

Derby County could make a move for Brighton & Hove Albion forward Jurgen Locadia, the Mail report.
Locadia joined Brighton for £14 million (BBC Sport) back in 2018, but he has struggled to adapt to Premier League football.
Derby are now keen to offer him a chance in the Championship, in what could be an eye catching addition for the Rams.
Four could leave Southampton

Southampton could face a late exodus today, as a host of players are discussing moves away.
