Aston Villa blew another chance to record a win as they conceded a late goal to draw with Brentford.
They had been heading for a win after new signing Jonathan Kodjia had put them one up, but Jonathan Egan rescued a point for the vistors.

Mile Jedinak was making his home debut and will be disappointed for it to have ended on a sour note.
The Australian was a calming presence in central midfield, and even provided the assist for Kodjia’s goal.

Jedinak was confident in possession and showed just why he was rated so highly by Crystal Palace fans.
There was room for improvement though, with the 31-year-old appearing to tire late on, but this is to be expected after a slow start to the season before his transfer. A few more games for Villa and he should get even better.
They certainly need to kick on, with Roberto di Matteo’s side well off the pace at present. They are in 17th place, eight points behind Newcastle United and nine behind leaders Huddersfield.
