Andrej Kramaric has been tipped to sign for Chelsea on January 5 before possibly moving to Leicester City on loan.
Leicester City could reportedly have Andrej Kramaric in their side after all, if only for a brief time.
The Foxes allegedly had a £7.8million offer rejected for a player who is hot property after scoring 28 goals in 30 games so far this season.
But the Daily Mail claims the player wants to move to Chelsea – who could get the player for £300,000 less than Leicester offered.
Chelsea have been heavily linked with Kramaric for some time, but with Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Didier Drogba currently at Stamford Bridge a loan move is already being touted – with Leicester the potential beneficiaries.
That would make sense to all parties with the Mail claiming the player will travel to London on January 5 and sign a four-and-a-half year deal assuming he passes a medical.
It remains to be seen what would happen next, but given Chelsea’s savvy use of the loan market in the past it seems a side tipped for relegation could receive a welcome boost in their pursuit of survival.
