The veteran midfielder, 35, is now 3rd in the all-time Premier League appearance list, behind just Ryan Giggs (632), and Frank Lampard (609).

Barry marked the occasion in perfect fashion, scoring Everton’s equalising goal in the first half to provide them with the platform to go on and win the game.
Aside from that strike, his stats across the game demonstrate how involved he was and suggest that he is likely to add many more Premier League appearances before winding down his career. Barry is currently in his 20th season of senior league football.
