Everton, Arsenal, Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers and West Bromwich Ablion feature in HITC Sport’s 7pm transfer update.

Evans to stay at The Hawthorns?
It looks like West Bromwich Albion fans can rest easy.
According to The Daily Mail’s Transfer Blog (entry posted at 18:06), Arsenal have been trying to sign a centre-back all day but they will NOT pursue West Brom defender Jonny Evans tonight.
The Express reported this evening that the 30-year-old was set to be the subject of a £12 million bid by the Gunners, but those reports appear to be wide of the mark if The Mail is anything to go by.

Mangala fancies Everton move
Elsewhere, Sky Sports have posted on their blog (entry at 18:23) that Eliaquim Mangala’s prospective loan move to Everton is dependent on the player.
The Toffees will be paying all of the 26-year-old’s wages and there is no loan fee, so the decision is up to the Manchester City defender.
Newcastle United and West Ham United have been credited with an interest over the past 24 hours, but Sky Sports claim that Mangala is willing to join Everton and is en route to the club’s training ground.

Morelos included in Rangers’ trip
Alfredo Morelos looks unlikely to be leaving Rangers, despite speculation of a move to China.
The 21-year-old has been named on the bench for the Gers’ rearranged Scottish Cup tie away to Fraserburgh tonight.
According to The Scottish Sun, Chinese outfit Beijing Renhe had offered an £8 million fee for the Colombian and a £27k-a-week salary, but his presence in Aberdeenshire suggests that he’ll be staying at Ibrox beyond this month.

King looks set for Swansea City loan
The Swans had agreed a loan deal with Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic today but they could only sign one or the other due to Premier League regulations that a team can only sign two loan players from divisional rivals, given they already have Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham on a temporary agreement.
And it looks like the South Wales side have sacrificed Markovic to sign the Leicester man.
