Leeds United have failed in their attempt to sign Yaya Sanogo from Arsenal on transfer deadline day, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Leeds manager Garry Monk wanted to sign the 23-year-old striker on a season-long loan deal.
However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has blocked the move and has told the Championship club that he wants to keep the Frenchman at the Emirates Stadium for the 2016-17 campaign, according to the report.

West Bromwich Albion have had a bid for Romain Thomas of Angers rejected, according to Sky Sports.
It has been reported that Premier League outfit West Brom made an offer to Angers to sign the 28-year-old defender, but the French club have turned it down.

Tottenham Hotspur have signed Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from Marseille on transfer deadline day.
As announced on Tottenham’s official website, the 21-year-old winger has signed a contract with the North London outfit until 2021 and will wear the number 14 shirt.
Jack Wilshere’s Bournemouth move
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is on the verge of joining Premier League rivals Bournemouth, according to The Daily Mail.
It has been reported that Bournemouth have agreed to pay the Gunners a loan fee in the region of £2 million. According to the report, the Cherries will cover all of Wilshere’s £80,000-per-week wage.

Chelsea have signed Marcos Alonso from Italian club Fiorentina on transfer deadline day.
As announced on the Blues’ official website, the 25-year-old left-back has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
The London outfit have also announced on their official website that they have agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer of David Luiz, who can play as a defender or as a defensive midfielder.
According to the statement, the move is now subject to the 29-year-old Brazil international agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
Chelsea have also announced that winger Juan Cuadrado is returning to Juventus on a three-year loan deal.
