Ben Davies joins Liverpool

Preston North End have announced on their official website that Ben Davies has joined Liverpool.

The Championship club have announced that they have signed central defender Liam Lindsay on loan from Stoke City.

In the same statement, Preston have said that central defender Davies has joined Premier League champions Liverpool.

“Preston North End have signed Scottish centre half Liam Lindsay on loan from Championship rivals Stoke City,” states the statement on Preston’s official website.

“The Paisley-born defender has put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season and takes the No.6 shirt left vacant after Ben Davies completed his permanent move to Liverpool.”

Ainsley Maitland-Niles completes medical

The Athletic has reported that Ainsley Maitland-Niles has completed his medical and will now join West Bromwich Albion on loan from Arsenal.

The 23-year-old, who can play as a full-back and as a midfielder, will stay at West Brom until the end of the season.

Joe Willock agrees Newcastle United switch

According to Sky Sports (Transfer Live blog, 7:22pm, February 1, 2021), Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock has agreed to move to Newcastle United.

It has been reported that Willock will join Newcastle on loan until the end of the season.

Derby County eye Beni Baningime

The Athletic has reported that Derby County are interested in signing Beni Baningime from Everton on transfer deadline day.

The midfielder knows Derby manager Wayne Rooney from the latter’s time at Everton.
