Christopher Jullien has paid tribute to former Celtic boss Neil Lennon.
It was announced earlier this week that Lennon had resigned from his post at Parkhead following a dismal season.
Sunday’s defeat by Ross County left Celtic 18 points behind Rangers in the Premiership title race.
This was supposed to be the year that the Hoops won a historic 10 titles in a row, but their Old Firm rivals have ripped up the script.
Lennon spent £7 million on bringing Jullien to Glasgow in the summer of 2019 and despite losing the support of a lot of Celtic fans this season, the Irishman has retained the respect of the big French defender.
Here’s how Jullien reacted on Instagram to the departure:
There’s a big revamp needed at Celtic Park and it’ll be fascinating to see who is brought in to replace Lennon.
John Kennedy will take the reins in the short term and a strong end to the campaign wouldn’t harm his chances of earning a full-time post beyond the summer.
