Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Chelsea at the weekend.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Leeds took the lead after just four minutes when Bamford found the back of the net, but Frank Lampard’s side made a strong comeback and picked up all three points from the encounter.

Bamford – who cost Leeds £7 million in transfer fee when they signed him from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018, according to Sky Sports – has taken to Instagram this afternoon to reflect on the defeat for Leeds against Chelsea.

Bouncing back

Leeds did play well in the first half against Chelsea, but the Blues stepped up their game in the second period and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will now be looking to bounce back when they take on West Ham United at Elland Road in the Premier League on Friday evening.
