Christopher Jullien has shed light on what Olivier Ntcham was like in training for Celtic before Neil Lennon sold him to Marseille.
Speaking to La Provence, the £7 million centre-back said: “He wants to play everywhere, to bring his technical touch. Sometimes, he caused me problems in training because I wanted to win and he just wanted to play. He was our technical leader. He’s never been someone who talks a lot, but a leader on the pitch with his actions and his touch”.
Ntcham was loaned to Marseille in January until the end of the season, where the Ligue 1 side hold the option to sign him for £4.5 million according to Glasgow Live.
It was a move which caused a lot of drama, with Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas offering his resignation as he didn’t want the Frenchman.
Nevertheless, it’s interesting to hear what the 25-year-old was like in training at Lennoxtown – by the sounds of it, he was a quiet figure.

It seems as if Jullien and Ntcham had a slight conflict in desires.
It doesn’t sound as if anything malicious or nasty occurred, but there certainly seemed to be a different in mentality between the duo in training.
Thankfully for Jullien, he won’t be caused anymore problems by Ntcham.

Unless Marseille decide not to activate their option to buy the Longjumeau-born maestro, that is.
On the topic of Jullien, the 27-year-old is still on the mend after suffering a severe knee injury back in January.
At the time, the BBC said he will be sidelined for four months as a result, so there’s a chance we might not see the Frenchman again this season.
