Liverpool eye Duje Caleta-Car

Liverpool have made an approach for Marseille central defender Duje Caleta-Car, according to The Daily Mail.

The report has claimed that the defending Premier League champions have already agreed a fee with Preston North End over the transfer of Ben Davies on deadline day.

It has been added that Liverpool want Caleta-Car as well, and that the 24-year-old wants to join the Reds.

Although the move is in doubt as Marseille may not find a replacement in time, manager Jurgen Klopp is still hopeful of a deal, according to the report.

Jonjoe Kenny set for Celtic move

The Scottish Sun has reported that Celtic have agreed a deal with Everton over the transfer of Jonjoe Kenny.

It has been reported that the right-back will join the defending Scottish Premiership champions on loan until the end of the season.

Teden Mengi to join Derby County

The Athletic has reported that Teden Mengi will join Derby County on loan from Manchester United on transfer deadline day.

The 18-year-old central defender will get to work with former United star Wayne Rooney, who is now in charge of Championship club Derby.

Lucas Torreira decision

According to La Nazione, Lucas Torreira will stay at Atletico Madrid on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old midfielder has struggled to play regularly for Atletico since joining the Spanish club on loan from Arsenal in the summer of 2020.

Fiorentina want to sign the Uruguay international, but Atletico are adamant that they will not cut short the loan, according to the Italian news outlet.
