Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to react after Calciomercato revealed that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are interested in signing LOSC Lille midfielder Renato Sanches.
The Italian news outlet say that the Portugal international is in the ‘crosshairs’ of Wolves, as they look to sign the 23-year-old.
Despite his relatively young age, Sanches has already done quite a lot in his short career.
The Benfica academy graduate was signed by Bayern Munich as an 18-year-old in a big-money deal, which was potentially worth €80 million (£71.7 million) depending on success-related bonuses as Goal reported.
Sanches also played a key role in Portugal’s European Championship glory in 2016, while he has also spent a season in Swansea with England where he unfortunately tasted relegation.
However, the box-to-box midfielder has found his feet once again in France with Lille, who signed him from Bayern Munich in a deal worth €25million (£22.4 million) according to beIN Sports.
Sanches has made ten appearances for Lille in all competitions so far this season, scoring one goal.
The Lisboa-born, dreadlocked midfielder presumably wouldn’t struggle to settle in at Molineux, given the vast amount of Portuguese talent in Nuno’s squad.
