Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to praise Mateusz Klich for his display against Crystal Palace, despite being on the receiving end of a 4-1 score-line.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men suffered their second consecutive 4-1 defeat today, having lost by the same margin against Leicester last time out.

While there’ll be few positives from such a heavy loss, Klich can leave south London with his head held high.

The Poland international assisted Patrick Bamford’s goal, and would’ve had another set-up to his name were it not for a cruel VAR decision.

In addition to his assist, SofaScore shows that Klich made four key passes, and impressively completed seven of his eight attempted long-range passes.

From a defensive aspect, the 30-year-old won four ground duels and two aerial duels, while making three tackles and one interception.

Klich also had 76 touches of the ball, and left Selhurst Park with a respectable pass success rate of 85%.
