Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to pile praise on Rayan Aït-Nouri, after his phenomenal debut for the club against Crystal Palace on Friday.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side signed the 19-year-old on a season-long loan deal back in the window, with an option to make the deal permanent for £20 million as the Daily Mail report.
If the Frenchman keeps up the level of performance he showed yesterday evening, then that figure will seem like nothing.
Aït-Nouri opened the scoring with a well-struck finish into the bottom-right corner, just after the Eagles saw Michy Batshuayi’s goal chalked off.
According to SofaScore, the teenager had 76 touches against Roy Hodgson’s men, scoring with his only shot on target while also embarking on two successful dribbles.
The Wolves No.3 also won four ground duels, and was successful in his one and only aerial duel.
Aït-Nouri also recorded one tackle, one interception and two clearances. He lost the ball 12 times, but that will happen when you’re an attacking full-back who puts the ball at risk sometimes.
Nuno’s other left wing-backs in Jonny Otto and Marcal are currently sidelined through injury, but we think they’ll struggle to win their place back after the Frenchman’s excellent display.
