Real Madrid fans have taken to Twitter to reveal their disbelief at the club’s decision to sell Sergio Reguilon to Tottenham in the summer.
Their comments come after they watched their side lose 3-2 to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Zinedine Zidane’s side were embarrassingly 3-0 down at half-time to the Ukrainian outfit, before eventually pulling two goals back in the second-half.
Reguilon is the hot topic amongst the Santiago Bernabeu faithful, as it was Marcelo who delivered a woeful display against Shakhtar Donetsk – a player who Zidane kept instead of the Spain international.
There were a few occasions in the game where the Brazilian full-back was caught lethargically jogging back into position while Shakhtar Donetsk embarked on dangerous attacks.

At 32 years of age, he probably shouldn’t have been kept over 23-year-old Reguilon, who has started his Tottenham career in fine fashion.
The Spurs No.3 already has two assists to his name in just four appearances under ex-Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, after arriving for £25 million.

He has impressed with his surging runs up the flank to support the attack, while his end product – especially his crossing ability – has been eye-catching.
Let’s see what fans of the Spanish club have been saying about the club’s decision to sell Reguilon on Twitter…
