The Everton midfielder was in fine form in the 2-1 win over Arsenal.
Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye was once again in fine form as the Blues beat Arsenal on Tuesday evening.
In a scintillating evening at Goodison Park, the home side had found themselves a goal down after Alexis Sanchez’s free kick deflected in off of Ashley Williams.

Ronald Koeman’s side rallied though and strikes from Seamus Coleman before half time and then Williams late on saw them take all three points and bounce back from the disappointing defeat to Watford last weekend.
The key to their victory was midfielder Idrissa Gueye as he put in an all-action performance in the middle of the park.
A look at some of his stats from the game shows just how impressive he was once again.
| Won Tackle | Interception Won | Duel Won | Ball Recovery | Accurate Pass | Passing Accuracy | Touches | Unsuccessful Touch | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Idrissa Gueye | 4 | 4 | 8 | 12 | 40 | 78% | 71 | 1 | 90 |
He managed 71 touches in total, the second most of any Everton player, with just one of those proving unsuccessful.
Defensively he was a rock, winning four tackles, the most of any player in the game, as well as four interceptions.

His passing was also solid as he managed 40 accurate passes, the most of any Everton man, and enjoyed an overall passing accuracy of 78%.
It was another all-action performance from the midfielder that will only have added to his burgeoning reputation at Goodison Park.
