The video in question shows the Spain international calling for a pass, before controlling the ball on his heel and firing a volleyed pass back from whence it came.
Arguably just as impressive is the fact that Thiago even manages to drop his water bottle without it falling over – the man is seamless at everything he does.
Regardless of what he did in the session, supporters will presumably be happy just to see the ex-Barcelona midfielder in training ahead of this weekend’s Merseyside derby.
The £20 million signing from Bayern Munich has been missing for the last two weeks after testing positive for COVID-19.
However, he is now back and in contention to face Carlo Ancelotti’s high-flying Toffees, who sit at the top of the Premier League.
