Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after The Telegraph revealed that Blackburn Rovers are in talks over a move for Barry Douglas.

The left-back, who was signed from Wolves in 2018, has struggled with injuries at Elland Road in recent times.

Marcelo Bielsa has only handed him game-time in the Carabao Cup this season, preferring to play Stuart Dallas at left-back in Premier League action.

The Telegraph say Bielsa would allow Douglas to leave for the right price, with just days until the 5pm transfer deadline on October 16th.

Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray wants to offer the Scottish full-back regular first-team action.

Discussions are taking place over the structure of the deal, and whether or not the man who earns £10,000-a-week – according to Spotrac – will move initially on loan.

Douglas is an excellent Championship player and Blackburn would be in store for a treat if they can get him to Ewood Park.

He scored five goals and grabbed 14 assists for Wolves when they were promoted under Nuno Espirito Santo in 2017/18.

The 31-year-old also played 15 games last season as Leeds finally earned promotion back to the Premier League.
