Just one remains at Leicester with the other six scattered around England, including Chelsea and Tottenham stars.

Leicester City are still toasting their incredible 2015/16 Premier League title win.

Their stunning achievement came just two years after clinching promotion to the Premier League, but before they did that, there was a bit of heartbreak first.

In 2013 Leicester fell to Watford in the play-offs, and while they bounced back a year later, it was tough to take.

Leicester rounded off their league campaign in 2013 with a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest, in which they could afford to bench two of England’s future top strikers.

Here is a look at Leicester’s substitutes from that day and where the players are now…

Conrad Logan (Mansfield)

Back-up goalkeeper Conrad Logan spent a decade at Leicester but only made 30 appearances. He would make just one more after this, signing with Hibernian after being released.

He has since returned to England, first with Rochdale and is now a regular for League Two challengers Mansfield.

Danny Drinkwater (Chelsea)

A key part of Leicester’s 2015/16 title winning side, Danny Drinkwater clinched a big money move to Chelsea last summer.

The former Manchester United trainee was just trying to establish himself at Leicester in 2012, it was his first season at the club. He went on to rack up more than 200 appearances for the Foxes.

Ben Marshall (Wolves/Millwall)

Winger Ben Marshall did not last the summer at Leicester after their play-off loss, as he was sold to newly relegated Blackburn Rovers before the deadline.

He signed for Wolves in 2017 and is on loan at Millwall where he has played a key role this season.

Jamie Vardy (Leicester)

Vardy is the one player still on Leicester’s books, and with good reason. He inspired the Foxes to the league title in 2016 and set records along the way.

He is set to star for England this summer at the World Cup and potentially write a new chapter in his storied career.

Paul Gallagher (Preston)

Leicester decided Gallagher was pretty much expendable as they moved forwards in 2013. He spent two seasons on loan at Preston North End before he joined the club permanently in 2015.

He has made 170 appearances for Preston in total.

Liam Moore (Reading)

Defender Liam Moore was tipped as a future Leicester regular and represented England at under-21 level.

Moore has struggled to meet expectations and Leicester cut him loose in 2016, where he joined Reading, helping the Royals reach the play-off final last season.

Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur during the Premier League match between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at The King Power Stadium on November 28, 2017 in Leicester, England.

Yes, believe it or not, Harry Kane briefly played for Leicester.

Kane was on the same bench as Vardy, who would become an England teammate and Premier League rival.

The Spurs star was just starting out and was enjoying a loan spell, and has gone onto become one of the world’s top strikers, netting more than 50 goals in 2017.

Perhaps if Leicester had played him more regularly, they might have stood a chance of securing a permanent deal.
